A LASTING IMPACT

Students will leave UNITE feeling refreshed and ready to go into the world and show the love of Jesus to those around them. Knowing that they have support from a like-minded, Jesus-focused community provides empowerment and encouragement. The impact that UNITE has extends beyond the event itself. As students go back into their homes, schools and communities, they will carry with them the lessons they learned and the relationships that they build during the event, which enables them to more effectively be a testament of God’s grace to those around them.

WHAT TO EXPECT

UNITE is a uniquely United Methodist experience. It is intentional about creating a space for our students to be grow spiritually, be inspired and encourages, and creates opportunities to unite with other student voices across the Missouri United Methodist connection.

  • A lineup of INCREDIBLE SPEAKERS, both from Missouri and elsewhere, who will share messages of testimony, wisdom and inspiring insights into faith.

  • Afternoons to participate in ELECTIVES, including activities like sports tournaments/pool, photography, praise band workshops, and so much more! Last year, these electives not only were engaging and diverse, but they provided valuable opportunities for students to get to know each other and build relationships while also developing practical skills. In addition to electives, students will also have the opportunity to participate in a week-long service (mission) project.

THE FOCUS

One of UNITE’s biggest focuses is to challenge students to use their gifts, talents and passions for the local church. After the event, it is normal to see students seeking to get connected with ministries within the church and even create new ones. The energy that these students come back with will reenergize the church as a whole!
